Intermediate Dance ClasseS
Ages 11-18
Level B is designed for intermediate students who are able to demonstrate mastery of foundational principles in a safe and efficient way with an understanding of rhythm and timing. Students will be learning more complex movement patterns and combinations in an effort to harness fine motor skills. Students will also be challenged to learn material at a faster pace, to apply cues and corrections quicker, and to explore how performance qualities such as facial expressions, projection, and focus can enhance their development as dancers. Finally, students will be given the opportunity to explore how dance can be a fun and healthy way to develop a sense of autonomy.
