Advanced Dance Classes
Ages 13-18
Level C is designed for advanced students who are able to consistently demonstrate mastery of foundational principles safely and efficiently with a clear understanding of rhythm and timing as well as a strong ability to appropriately apply performance qualities. Students will be learning complex movement patterns and combinations that demand proficiency in gross and fine motor skills, flexibility, strength, agility, and adaptability. Students will be expected to learn a large amount of material at a fast pace and be able to initiate cues and corrections on their own because of an intrinsic understanding of movement. Finally, students will be encouraged to develop a sense of agency in their dancing through collaborative training methods that go beyond the movement.
